I am glad to add my "12 stars!" review to this growing list. We retired from Oregon back to Arizona, and were concerned about best to transport the three family cats (8,9,10 years old). We researched all the solutions - including space on a private charter - and nearly decided to use one of the commercial direct flights between the two major cities (which meant reasonable fast transport but much higher kitty stress and three people traveling). Fortunately, we found Royal Paws - the entire process was quick to setup, and based on the previous reviews and our discussions with the staff we decided to move ahead. In short, best decision ever! Our cats departed our house at 7:30am on a Friday morning the 13th (LOL!) and based on the frequent pictures and text updates were settled in quickly to the drive. David was very diligent in keeping us up to date during the trip - even when a driver cat-nap was being scheduled - and the kitties arrived in Arizona on Saturday morning about 9am - and were relatively relaxed! So much so they were out and about in the new house just 8 hours later and no apparent residual stress. I will comment on the pricing - when I compared to commercial flights, RPPT was only slightly more expensive (about 10-12%) than flights, and the fact the kitties were so relatively unstressed means it was the right choice. They were on time with delivery and pick-up with constant communication. The trip took 10 hours and my cats travelled in a huge van on large carriers with enough space for litter boxes and food. I was planning my move from Chicago to Phoenix & my biggest concern was transporting my boy Snoopy, until I came across Royal Paws. Knowing their team members are licensed professionals & having my boy transported separate from other dogs was a huge plus & relief, but the phenomenal reviews are what sold me. Brad was an absolute delight to speak & work with. He was able to confirm & schedule my transport quickly after my submission, which was a blessing as I felt I kinda came through on somewhat short notice. He confidently addressed any of my questions & concerns to completely put me at ease with their entire process & what to expect. The week of the trip I received a bit of background information from Brad regarding our driver, Eric, which was shortly followed up by a call from Eric himself. We had a great chat & he opened the floor to me to gain a bit of insight on Snoopy, as well as answer any remaining questions or concerns I may have had. Snoopy was a rescue & is a bit anxious around new people, but warmed up to Eric & Julia quickly upon meeting. Eric & Julia were incredible in consistently keeping in contact with me the entire trip, sending photos & videos of Snoopy & progress updates in regards to both how he was doing, as well as where they were along their route. They arrived a few hours early the next day & I was able to get Snoopy to our new house, safe & sound thanks to the team at Royal Paws Pet Transportation. 11/10 experience & I would HIGHLY recommend the amazing team at Royal Paws Pet Transportation!
